I remember running into the team from J. Elizabeth Designs in the floral shops back in my designer days. They were always friendly and helpful, so as you can imagine I was thrilled to get the chance to work along side the team to create stunning work for Hilary and Alejandro’s winter wedding in November of 2019.
In my opinion, some of the most breathtaking color combinations perfect for the winter season. For these arrangements, she went classic all the way from the high and low table settings filled with big, fluffy hydrangeas, to the spray roses in bud vases scattered around the cocktail tables in the mezzanine of the Gillespie.

Something about this design is just undeniably romantic to me. It it the classic flower choices? The soothing, almost gradient color combinations? The mix of brass and gold to support the contrast in reds, pinks, and whites? Maybe it is a mix of it all, because what the design team was able to achieve in this massive space was elegant, intimate and oh so regal. What do you think of this winter color scheme?
