Oh, call it by some better name,
For Friendship sounds too cold,
While Love is now a worldly flame,
Whose shrine must be of gold:
And Passion, like the sun at noon,
That burns o’er all he sees,
Awhile as warm will set as soon–
Then call it none of these.
Imagine something purer far,
More free from stain of clay
Than Friendship, Love, or Passion are,
Yet human, still as they:
And if thy lip, for love like this,
No mortal word can frame,
Go, ask of angels what it is,
And call it by that name!
If I had to sum yesterday up in a word it would be this: Whimsical. I had the honor of photographing one of the most stunning, emotional days I have witnessed in a long, long time. It was truly a feast for the eyes, and for the heart. The bride, Mandy, left no stone unturned when it came to her attention to all the little details, and the beautiful vows, heartfelt toasts, and lovely ceremony were tailored in every way to this fun loving, playful couple.
Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to edit a few photos to share with you all. Scroll down to check out some highlights from the gorgeous day!
Big thanks to the brides mother, Anne, owner of Louisville Chocolate Fountain, for trusting me with the referral for her only daughter’s fabulous wedding. A few more vendor shout outs:
