A micro wedding, simply stated, is an intimate affair, typically with no more than 50 guests. They still feature time-honored traditions that make a wedding but on a much smaller scale. Though tiny in guest count, a microwedding differs from a larger more traditional ceremony. Plus, it isn’t an elopement, which is usually planned and attended only by the couple (and a witnes or two). Think of a microwedding as a cross between an elopement and a big, traditional wedding—and it might just be the perfect compromise during this pandemic to suit your style.
At this particular wedding, I played the role of both officiant and photographer, first legally marrying the couple and then moving on to my role as a photographer, snagging portraits of everyone that attended that day and a few detail shots to round out the gallery for the couple.
